How weird is it that my Dr FORGOT to run myA1C? LOL

very strange indeed, even he was puzzled by it. so after i left,
i had to go back to the lab and get poked again. should have
it in a week or so.

Everything was fine, here are some numbers:

Cholesterol: 169 HDL 72 LDL 89
A1C: TBP
Triglycerides: 38

all my numbers are "in range" and hes happy to see that.
He's cutting my Vitamin D (it's at 56.7) for three weeks,
then dropping the mgs per day

in a "shocking' development, he wants me to stop taking
Metformin for the next three weeks, and see what it does
to my numbers. My numbers (to him) are running lower
then they should be, and he wants to see how they are
without the metformin. if they creep up to 110+, then
back on the metformin, but 250mg a day, instead of 500mg

i have to admit that i am a little paranoid about cutting the
metformin out altogether.

i also have no idea how im going to react to seeing my
morning BGS in the three digits, i dont think its ever been
higher then 90 (possibly 92, too lazy to look lol)

Thanks for the read,
Eric

Those are incredible numbers! I'd do about anything for HDL that high! :D And y'know sump'n, Eric? If it turns out you can stay under 110 without metformin, you might even gain a little appetite back . . . I know met has a major effect on MY appetite - I'm taking 1000mg 2x/day - but wouldn't it be nice if you could enjoy eating just a little bit again - not have to set the clock to remember to eat?! ;)

Since doc forgot Eric's A1c, we oughta start a pool to bet what it'll be . . . not much over 5 though, I bet, about like before! :D
