Wow, another year has come and gone with the heartbreakingly
Tragic, heartwarmingly Good, and not to forget the hilarious and
downright strange events that have happened around us in our
world during the year 2007. We are all amazing!!
A Big Thank You to Merien for creating these New Forums for
Diabetes Care and the Best of Success to him in his other related
projects.
Thank you to All the New Members who have contributed here
whether it be by question, answer, comment or humour, esprcially
Richard. And Thanks to our Future members!
Indeed....be inspired in 2008. Do something Good for someone
that you felt you wouldn’t or couldn’t do for. Include that idea that
you were going to fulfill in 2007 but didn’t have enough time to.
Whether it be “enjoying” the company of that “cranky” old Lady
down the street once a week or being a Big Brother or Sister to that
Kid without a Mom or a Dad or volunteering to help a disabled Child
with their therapy. If you're really lacking an idea, smile at someone
that you don't like. Hmmm...okay, doing that will make that Person
really suspicous of you all month. Oh either way, one of you is gonna
be Happy. Anything that is done with a Good Heart is well worthwhile
and much appreciated.
-If you are partying at home...Terrific. Lock the doors and keep your
Friends overnight.
-If you're going out(hopefully with Friends)have a designated driver,
take a taxi(be Nice to the driver), take a bus(some buses in my city
are free from 11 p.m. this evening until 4 a.m. Jan.1st. Check
OC Transpo HomePage for one near you. Many cities have this service)
or have someone you know pick you up after the party, etc.
