Happy Halloween folks,
Halloween was always a big deal for me as it was one of the few times of the year my parents let me eat candy - mind you in moderation - but allow me to eat it guilt free.
Being a little kid that was a big deal - being able to eat candy like any non diabetic kid.
I must say - my parents did a good job of raising a child with diabetes. Now that we live in an isolated rural area we don't get any trick or treaters so we don't bother buying any candy.
