Hey Peter:

Thank you! We just got back from the nearby park where the community is having its B.B.Q. I love seeing all the little Kids getting their faces painted, running their balloons, flags, flying kites and all the other festivities. They're heading to the beach afterwards.
There's a band at another park not far away since I can hear the music. Many of those all through our city.
As usual many People were celebrating yesterday and putting off the fireworks in the evening(which is supposed to be done this evening). But it rained some yesterday so they weren't too successful.
I was wanting to go to Parliament Hill for the fireworks tonight but there are always way too many People. You feel like a sardine wrapped in saran wrap.

Hopefully we can get to a Friend's place later for a get together. My Husband has started some work outside, so I don't know if he'll be finished by then.

Yup, it's a Beautiful Day!
Hey you didn't say when Australia's Birthday is Peter. If you or anyone else would like to make a thread for their celebrations...feel free.
