Ahem!! Guess what?? Today is NOT Mother's Day for us Folks in North America, as I thought. My Mother is still laughing at me since she was able to correct me when I called her up.

Since we've been bombarded with ads about Mom's Day and Friend's have been sending me Mom Day's jokes for weeks, it seemed like it should be today.

I did however, make out pretty Good considering. My Daughter dropped in last evening with my gifts and Good Wishes. My Hubby gave me my presents and did a sink full of dishes for me. My Son and DIL were coming over today with their new Foster Kids, for us to meet. My Hubby had to say No to that one since I have a sore throat and fever.

(Hmmmm.....perhaps my Hubby would be interested in vacuuming next Sunday. j/k...he wouldn't be interested since he already did his time)

Anyways, we do hope that you Great Gals have a Wonderful Day.

Well, I knew it wasn't Mother's Day but I thought you got the thread started early so we'd have time to add to it throughout the week. My son and his goofy roommates are hosting a dinner next Sunday for their Mothers and families. These goofy 25 year old guys are going to do all the cooking, cleaning, planning, etc. Last year the napkins they had out on the buffet table were all from McDonald's, Taco Bell, etc. It was sooo funny. But the food was good (even if the ribs were a little tough) and we all had a good time and it was a day filled with love. We watched videos of a cruise they all went on together the year before and laughed until our sides hurt. They are wonderful young men.

Thank you for mentioning your idea about the thread Ruby. It would have been even Nicer if you had mentioned that thought before I embarrassed myself.

That is sooo Sweet of your Son and his goofy Friend's. Well, at least they thought of the napkins. Most wouldn't. That sounds like a lot of Fun. Best part...you don't have to cook or do the dishes. I hope that the weather is Fine for your occasion. They do sound like Great Guys. Have Fun!!

I love the Go fish - mom song Terrie! I had a blast watching it. Sunday is mother's day over here. Both of us will be working, but I'm sure the children will make it a special day for us.
