how do you handle the heat.
i am lucke i have air conditioning at home i don t work.Air Conditioning!...at least at work
In my apartment I have the windows open, a fan running and cold water in the fridge. Walk in the early morning or late evening when the sun is weakest. Take a cooler shower than normal, sleep under a sheet, wear shorts!![]()
i don t handle the heat well. the heat seems to drain my energy. i am lucky the hole house is air condilion. when we go to lake its drink water and in the lake water. We air-condition only two rooms of our house - kitchen & living room - and right now during this heat wave, I've been sleeping in the living room where the a/c is! For the rest of the house we have to wait until evening brings cooler outdoor temperatures & then we turn on our enormous attic fan to exhaust the heat & draw in air from outside.
Air conditioning at home and in my car. I could not live without AC.how do you handle the heat.
LOL-You are a hoot Shanny! You all remind me of a job I had years ago working in a greenhouse. The plants had to be watered every day of course, and one day my coworker & I were patiently tending all the little flora, and totally sweltering in the greenhouse environment, when it occurred to me to turn the hose on myself. She didn't believe I'd do it, and I guess her unbelief egged me on, plus my hairdo is a non-hairdo - cut short & straight - so I did it. And from then on when the heat/humidity became unbearable there, I'd go soak my head! (which is something my mom used to tell me to do - figuratively - when I was a smart-aleck teenager . . .)
That's IT! I shoulda been a plant! Loving the warmth & humidity!![]()
i don t take the heat well. the heat takes away my energy and makes it hard to things.I envy all of you, living in warm climate. Over here in UK, it is either raining or snowing in winter. Right now, we seem to have an Indian summer, with temperatures about 25 degree celsius. Quite comfortable.
