Hi there,

My name is Sedat. I am from Turkey. i have DM Type1 for 14 years. In 2 months it will pass 15.th years. There is been too much time since i first find out this site. Until now i have no courage to type something. But i have learned so many things in this time. I cant belive myself why i didnt search a website like this in 14 years.

Hello Sedat and welcome to DF ! Good to see you here from Turkey, yes, the forum does have some great information. I am a Type 2 (almost 13 years now) but also find the information here very useful.
BTW your English is fine :) Glad you are here and post often!!

Hello and welcome! There are several experienced type 1 diabetics here. Ask all the questions you want. I have been type 1 for 65 years, and am very healthy. Take good care of yourself and you can have a long, healthy life.

Hello Sedat - welcome to the forum. As you are already finding out since you have been reading - this is a great place to get information and support.

I love Turkey! I spent some months there in the 70's on 2 occasions - before you were born :) - and have the fondest of memories of your country.

Hi, there, Sedat! Welcome to some really friendly people. We're glad you came.

Your English is just fine. If something confuses us, I'm sure we will ask so don't be the least bit shy...we don't speak or read Turkish, so we are proud you speak it so well.

You are very experienced with diabetes after that long, so you must be doing well. Please share some of your ways with us.
