Hello, Andy. What brings you here? Can you tell us a little about yourself? I am a type2 diabetic on 1000 mg. metformin twice a day and 10 mcg. Byetta twice a day. My numbers are usually pretty good and I have a terrible time getting motivated to exercise. *sigh*

Well I wanted to learn more about diabetes and my risks. I take medication that increases my chances for diabetes. (the atypical antipsychotics Zyprexa and Abilify; working on being on Abilify solo). I don't have diabetes or pre-diabetes yet, but would like to be part of the community to be ready for when it does happen. Thanks.

I take my current medications for Bipolar 1 Disorder - Mixed Type.
