Hallo am new to this forum, I was reffered by a good friend who has been by my side always giving me support through my hard times as I have been to her. I've been living with type 2 diabetes for over 17 years now. I hope getting social about it may help to discover new treatments as I basically cannot go without my insulin shots.

Can you tell us some more about how you are managing your diabetes, such as: your last A1C, your blood glucose (BG) levels when testing, what kind of insulin are you taking, and what your diet consists of (how many carbs, etc.). This way we get to know you better and our conversations can be more relevant.
As a T2 diabetic, I have found that the key to treating my diabetes is diet. Even those here who are on insulin benefit from a low-carb way of eating.
