I don't know if there is a proper protocol for informing your Endo about the Metformin change. If I were you - I think I would wait for a little while to make sure your BG stays stable w/o the Metformin. Then if it does, you may or may not want to call the Endo office and let them know your new Family doc. took you off Metformin.
