I am watching my carbs, and the figures are under the accepted range,
Paul? I do have to ask whose "accepted range"? If it's the ADA, then there's a lot of latitude. You might be able to tighten up your carbs, use less insulin, prob'ly be less hungry, and not gain weight either. I'm not on insulin, obviously, but I'm still losing weight on 60g of carbs per day, and not limiting fats. And the best part is, I'm NEVER hungry! :D

I just think you shouldn't be starving. Lowering carbs doesn't mean going hungry - in fact, it's usually the opposite. Protein & fats stick to your ribs longer and don't create the cravings that carbs often do.

I hope you get this figured out - going around hungry all the time is not victorious living!
