I'm guessing that the underweight diabetic attempting to restore a healthy store of body fat should have about the same diet as an other diabetic but should indulge much more freely in lean meats as well as healthy sources of fat such as EVOO, nuts, and avocados. In any case, how should a newly diagnosed underweight diabetic go about gaining back a healthy amount of body fat? Thanks.
