are your 12 hour fasting number and then you go 2 hours after a meal--

are these 2 numbers supposed to close together or is far apart better

for example my last set of #s were

12 hour was 104 2 hr was 106

I have a feeling closer is better since does this mean the blood sugar is coming back down

Like in this example I was almost back to the 12 hr fasting #

also are these #s ok? Ive really been freaking out about #s since the dr told me almost a year ago Im borderline although I have brought my #s down each time Ive gone

thanks for any and all advice and tips

take care

Yes, those numbers are fine. Your 2-hour postprandials should be back down in the neighborhood of your pre-meal (or possibly fasting) numbers. Nice work, Penney!

and borderline if your somewhere in between?!!!

I can't help you much with the "labeling" . . . have you done any reading at Bloodsugar101? Jenny Ruhl - author of that site - spells it out pretty clearly and she's one of the most trusted voices in the diabetes arena.
