During my last endo appt I agreed to go on cgms. It was minimed or dexcom. Did research here and other places and finally decided on dexcom. The reasons are:

Less pain with insertion
More accuracy was the biggest seller for me though. Doesn't hurt that they say the sensors last longer too. Oh, and Richard from the forums uses the dexcom LOL

Don't know when I'll get it but when I do, I'll let u know.

You have made the right choice! I love my Dexcom, but my insurance has changed, and the new policy does not cover CGMs. I have to stop using my dexcom, they are too expensive to pay for out of my own pocket. I hope you have success getting covered. Let us know when you get it. You will need some help getting started unless you already know someone who will help you.
