I went to the store recently and for the sake of lowering my intake of saturated fat, I decided it was time to change to low fat cheese. I was going to buy some low fat shredded mozzarella cheese and I happened to look at the food label and noticed that there was carbs. I looked at the ingredients and there was potato starch added. If you don't read labels, it might be a good time to start.

Yeppers! And especially check when you're buying low-fat products. When the fat is removed, it's often replaced with . . . . carbs.
Oh yes. I looked into buying fat free pudding snacks verses sugar free and the fat free has more carbs than sugar free. Crazy labels!
