Hi all,

I am joining everyone here in order to "meet" nice, new friends! I personally do not have diabetes, but my husband does (type 2). It runs in his family.

We try to manage everything naturally, so I will most likely be on here to check out dietary advice and stuff like that... hopefully new ideas and things we haven't thought about as well!

I've been all over the forums already and everyone here seems very nice. Thanks! :)

That is what you will find here. New ideas in diabetes management based on natural dietary advice. Actually, not so new, rather forgotten. Welcome aboard.

Welcome to the best forum on the 'net for helping diabetics gain control over their diabetes. We have other spouses here, too. How is your husband doing? What was his last A1C, and what are his meter readings?

If you've been reading the threads, you know we suggest reading www.bloodsugar.101 The website author, Jenny Ruhl, also publishes a book that contains all the relevant information from the website - if your husband would be interested in reading for himself this is a good resource.

Do visit often, ask questions, and, of course, you may vent your frustration any time. We do understand.
