Is there anyone with Lipodystrophy?

I am new to this 'forum' chatting & I am not sure where to start, I have a little boy that has had type 1 for nearly 10 years & he also has a rare condition call Lipodystraphy. Is there any one else out there that has it or know about it? My son is also the only child currently with a DiaPort implant due to the fact he has no viable subcut sites for injections.
