i don't use my Metformin HCL 500MG and 10 mg Glyburide because they send me to "The Living Dead", kinda like hypoglycemia way to offen

My question is:

so what is in the spinach that is dropping my BG for awhile?

and has my drinking of 2 2 liters of cola a day leached almost all of my bodies nutrients out of my body?

YOU drink 22 liters of cola a day..!!..? Holy Moly..!! I'm lucky if I can drink a couple of quarts of "anything" a day. You sure must spend a lot of time on the pot.

I just looked it up and 1 liter = 2.2 lbs.... so 22 liters = 2.2 X 22 = 48.4 lbs.

Where the heck do you put it all?

Aaa breeze... I think he drinks (2) 2 liters of soda a day (4 liters)

Sorry. I read it Wrong..!

I thought I read it saying 22 liters. My mistake. Next time I'll try to decipher it a little bit differently.

ALL CARBOHYDRATES (carbs) raise BG

you ate enough carbs (noodles) Aug 16 to send me to the hospital:eek:

at the end you say you drink 4 liters of soda a day. that had better be diet soda. Regular soda is full of sugar. (sugar are carbs)

metformin takes about a 2 weeks to build up in your system it is NOT a drug that you will see results from in 1 or 2 or 5 hours.

you did not mention what your eating other than Green Max hTBLSP + a bunch of free radical killers + 1 scoop of Muscle Milk + 1 TBLSP MCT" and noodles

write down what you eat and drink (the carbs) and your readings then you will see a correlation in the carbs and BG.

As for feeling low at 99 yes your body is used to high BG numbers so when you get down into the normal range your body feels low

ok, to correct my misstatement, i was drinking 4 liters of coke until both my legs suddenly felt like artificial limbs and i got scared and made up this alternate diabetes plan by scouring the net for solutions, having no real way to seperate truth from scam i just tried it all. in five days my neuropathy pretty much cleared up except for the bottoms of my feet that feel like they have a thicker callous than they have. my arthritis is also improved to the point that i can take short shopping trips with no pain. i was of course elated by this. i am using spinach as as a bulking agent and i notice that my BG drops around 25 mg/dl when i ate it. that was was my point of the post, what causes this 25 mg/dl drop in my BG. do you have an answer or suggestion?

OK the short answer is
I cant explain it for I dont have enough info.


you say now you can go shopping without pain. does that mean you walk a Little more, that can reduce BG levels. Pain can raise BG levels so reducing pain can lower BG levels.
what else did you eat, you cant be eating only that stuff and spinach?
if you dont eat any carbs and you still have a pancreas that functions a small amount your BG will go down over time.

If you are already being treated for diabetes - which apparently you are, because someone in Michigan is prescribing oral meds for you - you should know better than to be drinking 4 liters of coke a day, and eating microwave noodles from a "poison plastic container". Even if you are unable to cook regular meals, you can purchase nutritious foods like meat & cheese, fresh vegetables, and sugarless beverages.

I take supplements myself, as you see from my signature block, but they are SUPPLEMENTARY to a balanced low-carb diet. I manage my diabetes by eating real food, avoiding carbohydrates, and using things like my alpha lipoic acid, fish oil & MCT oil to give an extra little boost.

Forgive me if I'm going to simple for you and you know this stuff.

All carbs raise BG

drugs, some raise BG some lower it, some take weeks to become effective (Metformin) some work right away.

stress raises BG, illness raises BG being sedentary raises BG.

exercise lowers BG, toned muscles burn more BG at rest thereby lowering BG still further.

extrema workouts can raise BG

fat, fiber slow the BG rise by slowing the digestion of carbs

protein slows the digestion of carbs, protein can be converted by your body into BG but very slowly. This makes it a good energy source instead of carbs.

AND every person is different. Sometimes our BG just changes.

As the pancreas goes into spits and spats sometimes working sometimes over working sometimes under working. it can
