I've worked so many hours since the 2nd of March, I don't even know what day this is
I haven't worked a single hour (at that kind of job) but because pandemic I barely know what day it is. :wink2: I commend you on the effort you've had to put in. They are getting the most out of you before you get to take a very long break.

mbuster, that's quite a ride -- especially when you weren't expecting it!

Some of the early rides around here feature sleet or snow flurries. I have friends who've sworn off those rides totally. Me? I was too much of a wimp for them in the first place.

My bike is in the house and it's going to go on the trainer as soon as I swap the seat on it. It's make or break this winter on whether I can ride for any distance.

Yeah, that's more of a weld fix than a glue fix (if that's even possible). Maybe buy the same one again? I've liked my Blackburn though I have not put anywhere near as many miles on mind as you have on yours.

If the hub bearing is plastic then, yeah, time to shop for a new trainer unless you can find another one to cannibalize. I suspect they're too proprietary for that.

Wondered if you were still on the old trainer. Enjoy the new one!

Exercise today was moving two inches of very wet snow from two driveways and four sidewalks. The sun will do the rest of it. Time for a break.

Enjoy the new trainer, mbuster! I didn't know your old one wasn't direct-drive. That's what makes taking my bike off the trainer such a pain -- replacing the quill with a wheel and kind of realigning everything. Not something I wanted to do often.

I went to ride my bike yesterday with our granddaughter and found the front tire is leaking air. I'll fix it tomorrow. It should hit 70 here on the tundra, so it would be nice to get out and about.
