This follows roughly a 70% fat, 20% protein, 10% carb ratio...
1 Scoop Vanilla protein powder (Mine is 120 calories, 23g protein)
1/2C Heavy Cream
1/2C Frozen Raspberries (or other berry of your choosing)
1 Packet Stevia / Truvia or whatever suits you.
1/2 Water
Combine ingredients... Blend. Drink. Good.
Calories: Approx 550
Carbs: 17g (4g Fiber, so 13g net if you count that way)
Protein: 26g
Fat: 42g
Percentages of calories from:
Carb, 13% (less if you count net carbs)
Protein, 19%
Fat, 68%
I had this today after my workout - Just shy of 3 hours after my lunch, but my workout ups my metabolism for MANY hours (usually 3-4) after I'm done, so I need the calories and energy in it. Supper tonight won't be for about 4-1/2 more hours...
