An interesting find out of University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, they found that a hormone called leptone can reduce blood sugars as well as insulin in mice. So this will be some interesting developments to watch down the road. My question though is will it convert the sugars into energy similar to insulin.
That sounds good . . . isn't leptin the hormone that signals our brain that we've had enough to eat? I'm remembering it from the lecture about Sugar - the bitter truth.
Well I would definitely like to see some new medicines come out especially ones that would be easier to produce the insulin so we can start getting some generics already.
