Last bloodwork came back with more improvements. Go back end of December / first of January to see if things still improving after my diet change.
Still haven't started the regular exercise routine yet. Hope to be able to get Janumet changed to just Metformin and hopefully off of Lipitor (now that the bottom is about to fall out of the price).

8/16/2011 11/8/2011
Total 150 120
LDL 73 51
HDL 60 52
Triglycerides 85 87
A1c 8.8 7.1

The 8.8 is as high as the A1c has been caught but it has been around 8.0 for the last 3 years. Cholesterol numbers have changed from 225/160/50 over the last 4 or 5 years.

Congrats on the better numbers. Is there a reason why you are holding back on starting exercise. I find exercise, especially during the holidays is a great way to make sure numbers stay low.

With numbers like these, why are you on Lipitor?

Too tired, too busy, too hot, too cold, too wet, too dry, too pretty. Is that enough or do I need more? LOL Put in some miles at the mall yesterday Christmas shopping with the wife. Instead of sitting and waiting, I walked circles in front of the stores so she could find me when going from store to store.

That's what I hope to find out when I go back. Maye he didn't think I could stick with fishy diet. I might be insistant about it. Plan to make an appointment with endocrinologist after next visit with my GP to make sure I am on right path. Was hoping for better on BG. I know regular exercise will help.
