I just started taking Metanx a couple of weeks ago. I wonder if anyone else here is on it and what they think of it.
What are you taking this for, neuropathy?

What are you taking this for, neuropathy?
Yes and homocysteine levels. I did one set of blood tests and will do another in a few weeks. The thing with Metanx is it can take from one week to 4 months to know if it is helping. I figure it was at least worth a try. Also it is the active forms of Vitamin B12, Vitamin B6 and Folic Acid. Right now I am getting less numbness and tingling so that is a good sign. I have also noticed that the neuropathy symptoms seem to increase if I eat anything with HFCS, Corn Syrup, Corn Syrup Solids or Maltodextrin so also am trying my best to avoid those ingredients as well. I can't say Metanx will work for everyone. It may work and again it may not. The one thing is one has to give it a chance and should be on it for at least 4 months before giving up. I did get a drug discount card for it and that has helped save money. I figured it was at least worth a try.
