I think this is the same contaminate that the FDA has put out recalls in some blood pressure medications. Wonder what the actual measured numbers were that are claimed as above and near acceptable levels? Not sure I would trust self tested results. Sounds like cancer risks aren't raised with "at acceptable" levels over 70 years of exposure. Not sure I would trust that either.

And Bayshore Pharmaceuticals has now recalled their Metformin Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets, 500mg (Lot No. 18641) and 750mg (Lot No. 18657), with an expiration date of May, 2021. If you have metformin from either of those lots, either call your pharmacy or discard them.
