My diabetes doctor and my internalist have decided that I should go see the endocronology staff at the University of Iowa. Makes me feel like they are giving up. What are they going to tell me that couldn't be done with a phone call. I now know how the side show freaks of yester years must of felt. I only hope that they can tell me whats going on and maybe perscribe the correct steroid regiment to make this fatiguge go away.:deadhorse:

Nothing like getting poked & prodded by all the university docs & their covey of med students, eh? Well I'm keeping my fingers crossed that somewhere along the line someone with come up with a brilliant idea that works for you.

I went to see a pulmonary specialist at the Ohio State University Medical Center and finally got some answers on my lung problems. Maybe you could just go once and see what they say?

Good luck, I really do hope they find out what is wrong.

Thank you for the well wishs but the facts are that they probably won't know. The reason I say this is because there are less than 100 people nationwide that have the diseases that I have all rolled up in one package. So there are no studies, and research being done on the most effective to treat them all as one disease.

I can sort of understand your reluctance to see yet another doctor. Almost a year ago I was referred by my local ENT doctor to a University doctor in Wisconsin. I worried about it for weeks on end, nearly making myself sick. To make a long story short - the new Doc turned out to be a young man who learned from one of the best older Docs. My wish for you is to have a successful appointment and that you will find someone who believes you and can help you feel better. Will keep sending positive thoughts your direction.
