A1C Reading: 4.90 %.
Spent the first week of December in the hospital with a major GI bleed. It took two months to get my iron/hemoglobin back to normal. I was on a very restricted diet during that time period also, which was very difficult to follow. Hence, my A1c rose dramatically at the next reading.
