I am confused. Has your son had diabetes since 2009? That is a long time, not to know what to do. If your son has type 1 diabetes he needs insulin to replace the insulin his pancreas doesn't make. He will have to match his meal time , fast acting insulin to the carbs he eats. He will probably take a long acting basal insulin which will be determined by his fasting levels in the morning. You can work with his medical team to get the correct insulin levels.
hey jwags, thanks for your suggestions. I am in search of the best guide who will help me to treat my children. Your given information is really very helpful for me. I will definitely concern doctor and ask about the insulin level for my child.
