oh really, do you have that much money to subscribe to a mobile data service at about $100 a month just to hook the meter to your computer? if not it is just another piece of fancy tech junk in my opinion.

just my two cents worth

that is just old data from trying to find a use for my 2 Blackberry cell phones that i never found a practical use for considering the cost for cell phone service. for a while i bought a WiFi base unit to play with it on my computer. they and the WiFi are now in one of my junk boxes. they were way too slow and way too expensive to use except to my own computer and i felt kinda stupid using a little Blackberry keyboard when i could be using my regular computer keyboard. they were fun to have as a new toy for about 2 weeks, then they became useless junk just in my way.

and you can buy glucose meters that will connect to your computer for about $30 for the cable, like my cheap "ReliOn Confirm"

it sounded to me like a money pit, like where and how much for the test strips?

Where do you get $100? I could not find any info on pricing.

I got the same impression that it was just another money grubber sucking money out of people that cant afford it. It would be better for you to cobtact your meter company for a cabel and software to use.

I looked at this and I don't get where you are seeing the $100 bucks? The service is free from everything I can see. You have to get a new meter that works with a cell phone, but medicare covers the strips. Anything has to be better than my old meter and a log book.

I haven't found where ANYthing about it is free! Have you looked at their online store? http://www.myglucohealthstore.com/ Holy cow!

I think Jim explained about the $100, but this gang definitely wants to part you from your money. And Medicare doesn't cover everybody - only senior citizens.
