Gluten sensitivity is what comes to my mind too, Shelley. And if you have digestive disorders and liver lesions too, all of those can affect diabetes. We could get a better picture of your situation if you could give us the actual tests and the results. What kind of diet do you eat and how else do you manage your diabetes?

Welcome to Diabetes Forum. We look forward to getting better acquainted.

Jay: None of us are required to follow your directions, visit your blog, or take any of the advice you freely dispense, any more than we are obliged to follow B-man's admonitions or my own.

I've already told you I use R-ALA myself, it's a good supplement, and I think you've said enough about it awreddy. Dial it down. Now.

Are you doing okay, Jim? Haven't seen you here as often lately.

I'm beginning to look like a supplement freak myself; I started milk thistle this week . . . I'm going to highlight the seven on your list that I take too - albeit in different dosage . . . ;)
oh i also take lipoic acid but then i am a supplement freak :D

at 20:00 i took al-carnitine 1gram, ala 600mg, zinc gluconate 100mg, r-ala 100mg, primrose 5.2 gram, biotin 5mg, fish oil 2 gram, milk thistle 250mg, vit b-1, multivit/min, Vit D-3 1200 iu, chromemate 200mcg, vanadium 5mg, CoQ10 200mg, DHEA 25mg, vit c 250mg, bilberry 350mg, vit e 400 iu, bromelain 250mg, vit b-12 5mg,

it helps but still looking for that wonder supplement that will cure me of everything :p

but i myself push trans-dermal magnesium supplementation, no test necessary, you are deficient!
