Are you going for the record and not telling us Lloyd?? :D I don't think that I could get that low if I tried. I would be having a lot of hypos probably then since I'm a Type 1. 5.9 was my lowest A1c that I am aware of. Anyways, Good work Lloyd, you're doing Excellent. :)

As a type 2, I can average a bit lower without serious hypoglycemia.
I am between 60 and 69 (3.3 and 3.8) about 3% of the time. At 65 (3.6) I get hungry, but don't experience other symptoms unless I go below 60 (3.3), which has happened only 3 times this year.

My average glucose for this year is 92 (5.1).

Being T2 helps, I could not do it without a pump (I have dawn phenomenon) and eating fairly low carbs (80 per day average).
That said, it takes tons of willpower for me to limit the carbs.

Lloyd, I will never be able to match your numbers. You have inspired me ever since I met you online. Congratulations!!!

I must be something right though. 63 years of D without any complications at the present time. I guess I have one claim to fame. Lol!
