The first time you break 150 is fantabulous, no?

Getting down to near-normal takes time. You're well on your way. Enjoy the ride!

Thanks shalynne I was getting discouraged. But seeing I can do it helps. I know I will still have bad days and high numbers but seeing it for myself is a great morale booster.

You're doing excellent! It definitely is a morale booster and knowing that you can directly affect your blood sugar by what you're eating has to be one of the most sobering realities ever. When I realized I could control my blood sugar to a great extent by making different food choices, I felt like I was on top of the world!

Keep going - you're headed in the best direction possible!!

You're doing great!! Don't get discouraged. It takes time for your body to adjust, but it will happen. Just stay off the carbs and sit back and relax as your BG gets lower.
