Hi, I decided to give the forum a try. I've had diabetes for 43 years and been on an insulin pump since around 1984. I remember when finger stick glucose meters were size of small brief case. Man I feel old.

Recently I started having some peripheral neuropathy in my feet. I've been really lucky that only now has it shown up. My A1C runs between 6.8 and 7.2.

Six months ago I switched from minimed to tandem t-slim with dexcom. Wow what a difference. I love dexcom and in general the tandem is so much nicer except for phone app compatibility.

Welcome! 43 years as a diabetic... I didn't even know they had insulin pumps back then. You were a real pioneer! I'm looking forward to seeing your advice for our members.
