·Went to the Dr.'s for my on going Lipid/LDL blood work checkup. He asked me his standard set of questions.. plus a few more. I guess some of the answers he didn't like, so he had some sugar tests (?) done on me via the above blood work. The results he got back were..
"Is there such a thing as having a number soo astronomically high that it doesn't even exist!?" :faint:
Anyways, I find out I'm type 2.. and as of yesterday I'm now a new owner of a "Bayer Breeze 2" meter. Thank God the kit came with.. (and I can use), the "Microlet 2" lancing device. When it comes to needles.. I don't like them, but I have to admit that it's very painless using it.
He's put me on "Metformin 500mg tabs" twice a day, along with checking my Glucose twice daily also.
Well, I guess that's it from this side of the computer.
