Sounds like you've gotten a great start towards figuring things D out!

The morning or DP can be a difficult higher BG level to resolve. Often in my case, a before bed snack can actually lower the BG reading the next morning. For me it is whats called 'Liver dump' my BG goes low overnight and the liver kicks in by releasing some "help" :violin:
Last evening worked in the yard and did not have a bedtime snack, this morning BG was 123, lately mine has averaged upper 80's or lower 90's on waking.

I do understand your thinking about walking at night, been full blown summer time here!!! Am sure you will find some great lower carb food suggestions posted and they will help keep the BG lower, again welcome.
