:confused:i was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes i am controling it with diet and excersize but over the past 2 months i haven't been able to get the number to be consistant due to my lack of interest and doing whatever i want...
so i decided to call my doctor tomorrow to have her set up an appointment with a nutritionist... my weight is really up there i need to lose at least 100 lbs. and that alone is a big part of my disfunction...[/C:shocked:OLOR]

carbs carbs carbs bad bad bad. All carbs not just sugar.

Yes, cut your carb intake as much as you can. i am not kidding.
if its white, do not eat it
do that, and walk for an hour a day, and you will see the weight come off

Hello and welcome energy girl! I hope we can help you get interested in helping you control this disease. Try and do one thing at a time, or you may get overwhelmed and not do anything. We will try and help you as much as possible. Thanks for joining and I hope to see you here often, take care!

Welcome to the forum!! This is a great place.
One piece of advise I would give you is to not worry about what has happened before. We cannot afford to make decisions today based on yesterday's mistakes. We must attack this today and do it best. I wake up every morning and do not want to test, count carbs, inject insulin, ect., ect., ect. But I decide before I get out of bed that I will fight this battle because it has been brought to me. I make mistakes *in whispered voice* as does everyone else on here. We MUST get up, dust ourselves off and climb back on the horse.
