hi everyone
i am kirsty i am mum to 2 children callum 6 and kaitlin 23 months
callum is type 1 diabetic he was diagnosed when he was 2 he is on novorapid and glargine he has constant problems with his sugar levels ranging from ypos to very highs this is thru no fault of ares we do correct insulin through carb eating and correction doses he is having problems with his bowels at the moment and is going to have to have a camera up his bum the hospital think this could be causing the uncontrolled blood sugars
i am looking forward to this forum to offer and get advice

Hello and welcome to the forum. I hope they are able to figure out what is going on with Callum. It must be difficult for you to try to keep on top of his diabetes when it is so difficult to control despite you being so conscience about taking care of him. Good luck and keep us posted about the outcome of Callum's hospital procedure. Poor little guy!
