I don't know anything about diabetes yet but regardless, I'm so sorry you had to endure a hospital stay. That must have been so scary.

I was only diagnosed yesterday so while I'm totally useless with any useful information, I do good (hugs). I've found this site to be so helpful and full of inspiration. Take it easy.
