I'd like to get folks a little more involved on this site. Since we're into the season of giving, here's a simple question:

What's the nicest thing a neighbor has ever done for you?

I wrestle with this question a bit because "nice" can be defined different ways. But I'll go with my neighbor mowing my lawn for me, every week or two for a while, as I recovered from arthroscopic knee surgery several summers ago. Didn't ask; just knew that it had to be done and did it. It was very welcome and I was glad to have that task off my plate.

How about you?

My neighbor with a bigger tractor has rescued us several times over the years, from pulling out stuck tractors and pulling out my son in law's 18 wheeler when getting a little too far off of the graveled drive. Those were asked for because we can't see each other for the trees between us. Unasked for was him swinging our mobile home around when it was it was too wet for the movers to finish doing it and it was about to begin raining. He was here visiting and watching and said I'll be right back. There is nothing like good neighbors. Needless to say, if he has a need anytime, I'll be there too.
