Like they say in the article, the holy grail! I seriously doubt that it could possibly be accurate but I will be watching with interest, and will sign up when the beta testing starts.

Google has also developed a contact lens that can read b/g levels. Not exactly noninvasive, but great news!

I have not updated my series 1 Apple Watch, in the hope that this monitoring will come with the next iteration (series 5)... I guess that will be announced in September. Maybe. I wanted to get the Series 4, for falls detection and ECG, but ECG is not yet available to Australia, and the falls detection is a bit patchy, from all reports. Should have improved next time round.
