I would like some feedback. My weight had stalled for 2 months, after losing 20 pounds since April. I use a pedometer and I track my blood glucose and calories. My A1C came down to 5.6. But over the past several weeks, my morning number went up. Last Saturday, it was 125. It has never been 125, but usually I had driven it down to 101, 102 and in the afternoon the number would go into the nineties, lots of walking. Recently, 125, 117, 110....no weight loss. My afternoon numbers, though are in the 80s, something I haven't seen since I began. I did a bit of reading and then I got a free Nova meter which also does ketones, which I HATE, its a pretty cheesy machine, but did a test yesterday, and it came up low. Which I then read about. I am not in ketosis. Too much protein? Sometimes my carbs are 25, mostly 35 to 45 grams a day, 60 to 70 percent fat, about 1100-1200 calories, walking 3 to five miles a day. I now understand why no weight loss. Any suggestions for kickstarting my weight loss again, and also bringing down my fasting number in the morning? I feel pretty good, not missing those twenty pounds and committed to the lchf diet, but of course struggling with celiac, and and sensitivities to almonds, dairy, and eggs.
