My recently diagnosed daughter is on NPH and humalog in the morning. Sometimes when we mix them in the needle they dont seem to mix. Kinda like okl and vinager if u can picture that. When this happens she seems to be higher sugar wise. Has anyone experienced this? Could the NPH have gone bad?

Do you draw the Humalog into the syringe first, then follow with the NPH? If the NPH has gone bad then your question would be always true, not sometimes.

Yes we draw humalog first. Good point about it being bad or not. I will pay more attension to that. Thanks!
