after stepping out of the shower just now, i somehow (i dont know how) bent the big toe nail on my left foot back.

i got the bleeding stopped, cleaned it and put neosporin on gauze bandage, and wrapped that around the toe.

it hurts (naturally), but more so when walking. that got me to thinking that my walking streak might have to come to an end tomorrow.

im NOT happy about it, but will have to wait and see how i feel when i wake up

i hope that your nail will better in the mornning.
Ouch Eric! Make sure that your toe heals properly. Those with diabetes have to be extra careful of our toes and feet. I hope you feel better soon!

Yes, sadly THAT was the first thing that went through my mind when i saw the nail. Keep in mind that i didnt even know something was wrong until i went to put on my socks and BAM, saw the nail bent backwards! lol crazy stuff.

since diagnosis, ive made sure to message my feet and toes before putting my socks on, and the socks are always freshly washed, never wearing socks twice again
