Tonight we had a wonderful and easy dinner:

500 gr of parboiled potatoes
200 gr of smoked salmon
250 gr of cherry tomatoes
1/4 minced onion
half a liter of white sauce, with some melted cheese in it
garlic pepper

Preheat the oven to 220°C. Take an ovenproof dish and fill it up with the potatoes, salmon strips, whole cherry tomatoes and onion.
Prepare the white sauce (50 gr butter - 50 gr flour - half a liter of milk) and melt some cheese in the sauce. Pour the sauce over the rest of the ingredients.
Heat the dish for 45 min or until well heated through.

Enjoy!

TIP: add some sauteed leeks
TIP: omit the smoked salmon and use strips of ham instead
TIP: add some parboiled broccoli
TIP: you can trade cauliflower for the broccoli or use both

Okay, yum. I'm headed to Cathy's house for left-overs. :D
Of course, there are probably none left. :(

you're more than welcome Terrie. No left-overs here! But I would gladly make it again for you!

I made it for my husband's lunch today. He prefers ham over salmon and l added leeks for him. He just cleared his plate and licked his lips and he's all set to go to work now. :)
'Morning Cathy: :)

HA! He's heading to work and I'm heading to bed. :D So I won't be at your place today. But watch out tomorrow. Thank you.

One of my Uncles is particularly loves leeks. He has a 100 acre farm with an area that has a Great harvest there.

I'm sure that your Hubby is having a Happy day now because of his Yummy meal and you. :)
Do you know the conversion factor to cups rather than grams? I guess I am not used to measuring things that way.

The recipe sounds good.
