I have not tried it, but it would work great for a glaze on a pork ham, ribs or butt ...

1 Jar of Polaner Sugar Free Preserves - (15.5 oz) Flavor your choice
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons spicy brown mustard
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
& cayenne pepper to taste :flame:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Add onion; cook, stirring, until onion is tender. Add preserves, soy sauce, mustard, ginger, Worcestershire sauce and cayenne; mix well. Simmer, uncovered, 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reserve some sauce to serve with ham, ribs or butt. Use as a glaze in the last 20 to 25 minutes of cooking.

bugg:hungry: cayenne is good in anything... except your eyes!
