Prediabetic/insulin resistant children

I have 2 young children one of whom i am concerned is showing symptoms of diabetes. I have had her checked but the results came back fine. I am not convinced. I am wondering if perhaps she has insulin resistance/ prediabetes. Also my 16 year old niece's blood sugar skyrockets off the meter when she eats and then drops back to normal within 2 hours. The doctors also insist that she is not diabetic.

See.. its simply not all the case of pre-diabetic, as you have already consulted the doctor. Insulin resistance is a condition in which the body produces insulin but does not use it properly. When people are insulin resistant, their muscle, fat, and liver cells do not respond properly to insulin.
