This tasted just like pumpkin pie filling to me. Very good substitute!

Original recipe on reddit by u/Adorkableowo

INGREDIENTS
• 1/2 cup pure pumpkin
• 1/2 cup [unsweetened] nut milk
• 1/2 cup heavy cream

--SPICES-- (full disclosure, I don't measure the spices, these are my approximations. Do what smells good to you [Or take the easy way out and use 3 tsp of pumpkin pie spice in a jar])
• 2 tsp cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp ginger
• 1/4 tsp cloves
• 1/4 tsp allspice
• 1/8 tsp nutmeg
• 1/8 tsp five spice (optional)

• pinch of salt (to taste)
• 2 tbsp sweetener (to taste; I used stevia)
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 1/4 cup chia seeds

INSTRUCTIONS
1.) Blend everything except the chia seeds in a blender to incorporate well.
2.) Mix in chia seeds, and wait at least a half hour if not overnight. [I waited the half hour, stirred it again, and put it in the fridge for several hours.]
