Good Morning All,

I wanted to get other opinions about the artificial sweetners and how they effect your BS if any. This AM my fasting BG was 175 then I ate 2 eggs and 3 slices of bacon and no oils added. My 2 hr was 171 and it usually drops 20 points after this. Also, I added a packet of raspberry to my water sweetened with splenda. Any comments will be appreciated.

By "packet of raspberry" do you mean those splenda-sweetened little water flavorers?

I have good luck with most, but some of the store brands have more maltodextrin than might be good for us. Check your box.

Sometimes they have just enough to spike us ... or make us gain weight.

Yes those are the packets and they are the grocery store name brand not per say Crystal Lite.........
