How come whenever I feel like I am being talked at by another diabetic, they turn out to have an MD behind their name and practice in another specialty? ;);)

Hahaha

Maybe because the less we know about something the more certain we are about what we know. Knowing too much can change one's black and white world into shades of grey. Just Joking :D

A little humility (especially when posting "under the radar," ie, not professionally or under title) can go a long way.

I understand, in fact I have had several of my wife's specialists (and not in D) told her and me that it was OK to eat fruit as a diabetic, quote "fruit has fructose not sugar and is a good dietary food choice for Diabetics"

He said his FBG was climbing recently, that was a year ago, sure like to see how much fruit he is eating now.
