I'm so sorry to hear about the cancer on top of everything else! I have a friend who runs a website called HysterSisters and it's for everything about hysterectomies....before, during and after. I did a search for diabetes on her site and came up with this conversation: Hysterectomy and ... diabetes??! - Pre-Op Hysterectomy Support - HysterSisters I would suggest that you check them out...maybe register so you can post questions and I'm sure you'll get the kind of responses you need. Best of luck to you!! I think you will love this site! And let us know how you're doing!

I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis and wish you all the best with it. I do understand your doctors wish for your blood sugar to be in better control before surgery though. It will help your healing process. Please let us know how you are doing.

I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I am not a doctor, but an aggressive type of cancer needs to be taken care of as soon as possible. I wish you much luck.

Aggressive cancer needs quick treatment.

I had endometrial cancer which is not aggressive but still I had to have a complete hysterectomy. I had just turned 40.

I wish you the best of health and a speedy recovery.
