Well, I had an appointment with my Endo today and it was a very encouraging appointment! I brought her a list of all my numbers for the past two-three weeks and she was very impressed with my progress. She told me to keep it up, and things were looking very positive. :sing: Thank you, thank you very much! My doctor even gave me a hug at the end of our appointment. Just love her! We talked about the LC/HF diet, and she didn't chew me out for using CO! She agrees with it! I told her that I am eating according to my meter, and that I test ALOT. She was pleased with this and said that is how all diabetics should be. :D I will see her again for a quick progress update in beginning of December when I see the cardiologist next, and then if everything is going well at that time I won't have to see her for 6 months. I'm so stoked. Also, I was very nervous about alot of weight gain because of going back to insulin, and when I went to the CNP I had gained 8 lbs in two-three weeks already, but today, two weeks later, I have not gained any further weight! :p Yeah! Thanks to all my loving, caring DF friends for helping me to be more educated and more comfortable with understanding LC/HF diet, and for all the useful recipes, information, research, etc. You guys are all great and I wish you all a healthy life! :grouphug:

I'm glad for you to have such a positive report and a good relationship with your Endo. I think she must be a rare find indeed. Good for you in all of your progress. I think with your determination that you will do just fine with no further weight gain.

Thank you all for your wonderful words of encouragement! I am determined to do my best and not gain alot of weight from the insulin. I unfortunately do have my downfalls, but they are few and far between. I am certainly trying to stick to the things that don't spike me, and some of them are very satisfying indeed...in fact, I might just make myself a chocolate mug cake tonight! Got a bit of a sweet tooth going today.
In any case, I'm very happy with my endo, and I hope we all have great results and lives to look forward to! Yeah Us!
